Dang, had our first board meeting of 2015 last week at the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum; awesome to be back there. We've set our agenda for next months board meeting where we will begin to plot a course for a fairly aggressive strategy for growth and expansion. While that may sound strange for a small model home with absolute limitations on space, several of us understand the unlimited potential of online development. Better yet, the next day I served as a docent/guide and we were busy with visitors enthralled at the mysteries unveiled within the 1200 square foot first Sun City model home. And then as a capper, I was asked to fill in and give a presentation in Sun City West to the West Valley University of Minnesota Alumni and what a treat that was. Really, what's more fun than sitting with a bunch of really smart Swede's and Norwegian's talking about Del Webb? I do have a question though: I'm toying with running a Saturday special in February or March. Currently the Museum is only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1 to 4 pm. My thought is to open every Saturday in February or March from 9am to 1 pm with a "coffee, cookies and a magical history tour." We'd serve coffee and cookies on the McMillan Terrace overlooking the newly renovated North course and give folks a chance to visit who may be working weekdays. What do you think? Worth trying?
Not sure if the bus from the VC stops there Peg, but it seems to me it was included in one of the routes Paul was running. Good point E on March being a better time. I will bring it to our next board meeting and we can try and put it in play. Stay tuned.
Yes it would E and of course March is spring training. All of those add to potential visitors. I have sent an email to the president and asked him to add it to the agenda for February.
