Arizona ranks very, very low in the number of Natural Disasters.
Sun City ranks nearly zero! Del Webb knew what he was doing when he built SC where it is.

There is an occasional small, repeat small, earthquake. In 6 years I have not felt one.
A haboob (dust storm) can be a bit scary if you are driving in it.
Winter rains and summer Monsoons and forest fires can cause damage (no forests in Sun City!!).
    Google Haboob & Monsoon.

Once in a while there is a small tornado. It rarely causes damage.
Strong winds can cause problems. Just remember to keep outdoor items well secured.

All in all, AZ/Sun City is spared many disasters that occur in other parts of the country.
