Since I posted about finding a cockroach today, here is an Arizona Bug poem. Bless the walls where termites dine, While ants and roaches march in time. Bless our yard where spiders pass Fire ant castles in the grass. Bless the garage, a home to please Rattlesnakes, scorpions, ticks and fleas. Bless the palo verde bugs, two by two, the gnats and mosquitoes that feed on you. Millions of creatures that fly or crawl, in Arizona, Lord, you've put them all!! But this is home, and here we'll stay, So thank you Lord, for insect spray.
A little poem I once wrote about a little bug who thought he was an editor.... A buglet like a period upon my page did sit and changed the meaning of what I wrote by just a little bit. The writing ended sooner than this writer would have wished, yet because the buglet was correct, his little form I squished.
