Don't get me wrong, it was pretty darn good, but there were moments that great wouldn't have been how I described it. Last nights show at the Sun Bowl had another 7000+ crowd and had moments it was great. The young lady doing Carole King had her down pat and the Croce/Taylor/Fogelberg sets were every bit as awesome. It was just when they let some of the other members of the band try the microphone. A couple of their efforts were less superlative (being very kind here). That said, the massive crowd appeared to have a great time and really, isn't that what matters the most?
So happy to hear the shows are so well attended. We can hear the music from our home so don't fight the crowds. Are they actually doing the spot checks of Rec Cards? I can't imagine how they can limit the attendees without having the Sun Bowl area completely fenced which would create traffic nightmares.
