I can't get confirmation from any board member on this, but i heard a really, really ugly rumor today: The story is floating about Sun City that at least two board members felt it wasn't necessary for the motion on the for profit corporation to appear at the member exchange. I hope that isn't the case and will ask the board point blank what their position was on this matter come Monday? Personally i cannot believe anyone serving on the board would ever want to try and hide this kind of action from the folks who elected them.
I've read the motion and have a lot of questions as to why "we" would do this. There is too much "behind" closed doors stuff going on. This is a prime example for why we need transparency. I would say more transparency, but right now there is none.
Be sure to ask those questions come Monday V, see how transparent the board is regarding this matter.
