Yesterday I had cataract surgery. All went well. In the waiting room I talked to a couple who said they had to drive for 30 minutes to get there. I said "from Festival?" and they replied yes. Wife said that their next move would be closer in - probably Sun City Original. She also said that where they now live is about 30 minutes to a hospital.
It's amazing how fast recovery is from cataract surgery these days. Glad to hear you're doing great. Being close to medical facilities is a top reason for us being in the original Sun Cities. Our response time by ambulance to the nearest hospital in WI was at least 45 minutes. Now we don't want to be more than 15 minutes to the ER.
I think I deleted this once. I would post a picture of my very, very black/blue/red eye but don't want to scare you. Actually I am aware of the fact that my vision is already much better. Now 20/30. FYI my opthamologist is Dr. Zaki. She is well known to be excellent. Another FYI - I live 5-10 minutes from all my doctors. Great to be in Sun City O
Have other people had eye like this I think I did after a night of too much partying in small-town rural Wisconsin. Those days are long gone!
I removed my picture. It wasn't very good. Actually, doctor saw black eye the next day when covering was removed. BTW. I am using computer without glasses. Nine (9) drops a day keeps me home! It's nice to have this forum with friendly people. I think we have become like family.
