Sun City housing options...

I'm almost official, just 2 more weeks. I bought a home on Dawn Lake. It's a great location, 2 blocks from the CVS, Chinese restaurant and a city bus that goes to the Boswell hospital and even downtown with one change of bus. Two rec centers each about a mile from me. I got most everything on my wish list except the floor plan I wanted. Some pluses to that change however...I have a Phase 3 house in Phase 2. What I like most about phase 3 houses is the upgraded plumbing: wall mounted toilets, all copper pipes and PVC sewer lines. It could be one of those phase 3 model homes you spoke about, Bill. It's mostly original inside except the owners added a 400 sq ft Arizona room off the back that looks onto the lake. It is a beautiful western view with the mountains. Can't wait to see the sunsets. The only problem I have now is I should wait 3 years to retire and pump up my savings a bit more. It will take some discipline to wait now. I saw swans and ducks floating by when I was there. Here's the view from the edge of my boat dock.

Congrats C, turns out that house is just three doors down from my friend. You've got the perfect location for sunsets. I spent a couple of hours at the museum yesterday afternoon trying to find more information about Dawn Lake but there's just little available.

I did like what i saw on the Dawn Lake website. Clearly a community within a community. You done good girl.

Not sure how you wait when you know what you're missing here.

This Sunday I am doing takeout from Chang Lee.
Can you order over the phone and then pickup?
Or do you have to go into the restaurant, order, wait, and takeout?

I know the other restaurant.

BTW. Chang Lee has a nice room for group luncheons.
