Just back from the Sun Bowl where a Peter Paul and Mary tribute group had them hanging from the rafters (metaphorically speaking of course). The outdoor show under the stars transported people back to the 60's and 70's with the great sounds from that era. And like the many of the previous Sunday night programs, 7000 plus were in attendance. Nice!
And wasn't it great to see the volunteers from the Sheriff's Posse of Sun City out there directing traffic and making sure all of those 7000 folks had a safe and enjoyable experience, just as they have been doing for every Sunbowl performance for many years.
Spot on PI; the Posse does a great job getting folks in and out safely. I got there late and hung around the periphery and noted how efficiently they worked together. And what I really liked was how friendly they were.
