'Tis a puzzlement (The King & I). When an event of any kind (church, musical, seminar, etc.) is scheduled, people start arriving as far as 45 minutes in advance. Guess some seniors have nothing better to do than "sit and wait". Maybe they want the front seat or a close parking place. I actually prefer it in the back. Much easier to exit.
The King and I is a musical...right? Also, if there arriving that early it doesn't make sense as they have assigned seats..right? It would make some sense if it's first come first ones get the seats. Where is an event held...in Sun City?
I don't think the events in Sun City have assigned seats. First come first seated. Events are held at the Rec Centers and at churches. Usually they are free but sometimes at the door there is a request for donation. Time and date of events are published.

I'll put my 2 cents in and just say that The King and I is one of my favorite movies. I would stand in line for it.
