The fountain at Lakeview is now working.

When I was there in February they were expecting to get some boats.
I just called them, 623-876-3000, and they now have 2 rowboats.
They are aluminum so midday use is probably not a good idea in warm weather.
If you have a motor, you can attach it. Go to the link above for hours of operation.
In the future they will also have paddle boats.

The lake is stocked with fish and fishing is permitted.
A license is not needed because it is on private property.

That is good news. I have asked for paddle boats a number of times. I hope they will get the kind with a little canopy.
I'm surprised at the motor possibility as I thought noise and oil spills were a concern, or is it only electric ones? I hope the latter.

Went on the paddle boat and it took about an hour to go around Viewpoint Lake--wonderful!

I don't live in AZ... yet! So don't know for sure, but have heard Tilapia and Catfish.
I would assume other warm water species as well.

It is such a peaceful little spot to even walk around or take a sack lunch to. I love the ducks.
