-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is an Ecumenical Council in Sun City. In January there is a "Week of Prayer for Christian Unity". In 2013, 11 congregations participated. More are expected in 2014. There is a summer Hymn Sings [a.k.a. "One in Spirit / One in Song"] . St. Joachim & St. Anne's congregation will host on the afternoon of June 16th; The Church of the Palms will host on July 21st; St. Christopher's will host on August 18th. Each of these Sunday afternoon gatherings is at three o'clock and involves about 1 hour of celebrating God in song, and 1/2 hour of light refreshment and good conversation. Everyone is invited to be part of these. I should have posted this earlier because today is already the first "Sings".
