I need some windows replaced. They are the single pane original windows. Does anyone know of a good company to use? Thanks.
Take another look at SCHOA's web site. If you are a member, sign in and under Member Services check vendors by category listed alphabetically. Toward the bottom of the list there are "windows" under five different categories with multiple vendors under each category. It's one of their more popular vendor categories for merchant participation. I hope that helps. Good luck!
Window World always shows up at the SCHOA events and I got mine through them and have been satisfied. The guy didn't try to up the amount either, saying why triple pane was prob overkill, the gas filled ones not needed in one of my areas since I have a double-paned glass porch and was just looking for the inner windows that look out at the porch, etc. Discussed difference of R values etc.
We also used window world when we replaced all the windows in our house. They also installed a new sliding glass door where we had only a window. They were reliable, reasonably priced, and easy to work with. 4 years later we are still happy with our choice.
