Admin has been looking into this for months since the "Anne Report" surfaced and Anne Report was given the benefit of the doubt that it was in good intentions and discussions for Sun City and TOSC.. We have heard everyone's voices on this and agree Anne Report is doing this to profit after reviewing their site and it will not be allowed to continue going forward as the threads have "run their course"... Going forward there will not be anymore discussions allowed on Anne Report.. Thanks Admin Thanks, Admin
This forum will fade away like others because of one person. I quit posting when she came on the scene. I really don't know why she doesn't just move to CA. Why stay here if she is so miserable?
Thank You so much for honoring those of Sun City and those wishing to have a bulletin board to share ideas on. I, for one, will make an effort to let all of the folks that have been driven away from any bulletin boards, becuase of ARS, there is a new and fun place to enjoy the Sun Cities. We live in a great community that has so much value, we all want to share it with everyone. Makes me think of the song from the ending of the movie "The Wizard of Oz." I think that will be my theme song for the day. :emmersed:
I'm not a big fan of moderation, but in this case, having seen annereport in action on a previous board, I think the action taken by admin is warranted. She is not the reason though that I have not been posting much lately, we are in transition mode and leave for Sun City next week. I will be happy to trade the snow on our deck here in the mountains for sunny days and milder nights: )

Sounds like a slam to California aggie. What do you mean? Defending a cause doesn't mean a person is miserable. But it's a private site and moderators can do what they see fit. I understand she was a pain, her posts had "run their course" She went overboard, she bothered me at times, yet I did learn some things from her posts. I don't know her, I haven't been on the other sites you say she dominated, but I don't believe her primary reason for posting was monetary as in a business (though she did ask for money for the cause). You can say love it or leave it but Americans have always tried to right inequalities they see as wrong. Forums are the the place a person can post to a group if they see something as unfair. Where else? I don't know if the Sun City newsletter would print it; I read what they chose to print about it from this site and it was seemed one-sided. Maybe everything she says is not correct but I agree with some of them. The single homeowner fees are unfair, in my opinion. Especially since they were not that way at the start of SC. Someone posted here that the president (could be a former president, they didn't say) invited people to stand up at the mic and discredit her at a general meeting. That's concerning behavior but I'm glad I heard about it so I know what I'm joining into. I've been away on vacation for 3 weeks--I didn't read this at the time it occurred. I know it's old news. Perhaps this forum should only be to share all the good stuff about SC. I don't know.
