SC RCSC Changes to Marinette

Love the shuttle bus idea and neighborhood circulators are on the NW Valley transit gang's wish list, but I always thought that transportation between rec centers should be an RCSC concern but they don't think so. Think it makes lots of sense and may be worth some continued chatter....

 

It would get people a lot closer to many things if they just did a shuttle around the rec centers. Wish I were there already to put in my 2 cents.

 

I absolutely love the idea of a shuttle bus. What a great idea. Many people don't drive anymore and it would keep them involved in the community. I would even take it just to save gas. The problem is....how is it funded? The money has to come from somewhere. Possibly the people who use it could purchase a monthly pass, like we did in San Francisco.

 

My city just started a trolley that does a four mile loop in the city. They have 2 trolleys that do the loop around hot spots.

 

Any kind of regular public transportation would be welcome in Sun City, but I suspect it is cost prohibitive.

 

People could pay to ride. Couldn't it mostly fund itself?
