SCHOA’S Roads and Safety Committee provides an opportunity for residents to bring issues of concern to the attention of local, county and state transportation officials.

Meets Wednesday, Sept. 17, 10:00 - 11:00am at the SCHOA office, 10401 W. Coggins Drive.

Sun City residents are welcome to attend!

I, for one, would welcome cameras at our traffic lights. I am a regular at Del Webb & Cameo and the number of of red light runnings I see makes my blood run cold. And with a little bit of bad luck, hot.

 

When I sat on the Board and represented us at the SCHOA Roads and Safety Committee Meetings, I found anyone on the panel connected to Maricopa County and road issues always attentive to what community members had to say. Oftentimes, they would write down the queries and ensure that they would look into the issue and get back to us. I would definitely put this meeting on your calendar if you have a road and/or safety issue.
