Not really, at least not from/with me. I found our little experiment interesting this summer where we had approximately 30 different RCSC members stop by our three "Gatherings." It was a fun get-to-know your neighbor exercise where some truly great ideas sprang forth. We focused on a couple of different topics. Easily my favorite was how to better welcome and reach new home buyers to the community. It's no small task even with home sales down from those old high-water marks of 2000 homes sold each year. Recent years have been between 1200-1400 which still puts us in that 100 plus homes a month sold. Our discussions centered on making each of those new buyers feeling more appreciated. We know every new home owner writes a check to the RCSC for more than $6000 at the point of sale, making them feel more loved seems like a solid step to better creating a sense of community. With that out of the way, here's where this is going. Anyone reading this is invited to the Outreach committee meeting this Thursday. I want to personally ask those who came to the "Gathering" to join us. One of the topics will be better ways to reach members. Here's the details: When: Thursday, Sept 18, 2025.
