4/24/2025 Board Meeting No New Business

I hope I have not written any other slights or words that are inflammatory or offensive. Truly not my intention. Hence, the written apologies. Trying to make amends after putting my foot clearly in my mouth.

 

If you were truly as into SC as you claim to be, you would recognize her immediately if you watched the videos or attended the Exchange Meetings.

 

I have not heard anyone come to the podium at any meeting and introduce themselves as ‘sbb”. This would be another assumption that this is the same person. So any commentary as to my ability to ferret out who a particular speaker is beyond your pay grade! My commitment to Sun City is my own responsibility, not yours, so mind your own attitude and respect others who operate with dignity and integrity of others.

 

Sorry Carole, if you truly paid attention you would know who she is. She speaks at almost every meeting, is very articulate and I think she would be an awesome board member. The only problem I see is she would be 1 against 8. The resignation speech from the board member just recently spoke volumes.

 

Just to be clear Carole, she doesn't introduce herself as SBB. And now that i am reading through this thread; did you just out her Josie? OMG.

 

No Bill, I did not. Show me where I used her name. That's your forte not mine. It's the reason I had the admin change my name. Pointless to use a pseudonym after you doxed me.

 

All i used was the name "Josie: which no one knew if that was even a real name or a fake name. On the other hand you told everyone reading to watch the RCSC meetings and listen for her name and figure out who she is. Hell, you even insulted Carole by telling her she should know just by watching.

 

I find it laughable that you say I insulted Carole. I also find it hysterical that someone who labeled me as mentally ill can figure out who it is.

Funny. Josie is not a popular/common name yet you managed to just pull it out of your bag of crap you spew daily.

I choose to walk a path of honesty and integrity. In doing so, I place myself in the position of being cognizant of what others wants and needs are, placing my needs second. This also applies to how I view others as their true self. My view of sbb has no bearing on what is said at all podium. I based my decision as to her ability to lead from her writing. I find what someone writes, authors, says a lot about the character of the person. I believe in her honesty and trust this is a powerful goal of hers as well. sbb writes from a strong perspective that she can easily defend and support and I feel because of her strong spirit, will not pick up group mentality, but rather be a strong singular voice that is much needed.
Your assumption that I listen to YouTube is wrong. The fact that once again you try to speak for me is a sign of narcissistic arrogance. I don’t need to be a shrink to read the internet and form ideas. You called out a posters user name and named them by name, in an attempt to place the onus on me to know the person. The whole time you continued to make assumptions about me, about me watching YouTube, about me knowing her name from watching YouTube, and that because I support Sun City, I was less than human for not knowing her real name.
That about covers it, I do believe. The attack was on me, sbb and Bill. Don’t even think you are a victim in all of this. You perpetrated attacks on 3 people in your efforts to create an argument that will make you a victim again. Don’t go there with me again. I will go back immediately after posting this and block you again. Do not expect any response or additional action from me. You are not worth wasting my time on anymore.

Gee whiz, all, no reason to sting – there’s enough meanness going around in this world/Sun City.

CMartinez is staying up more than most. So, I give her credit. And thank you for your kind thoughts/support also, Bill and Josie.

First, let me say, CMartinez, no apology necessary. Bill is right – and I would laugh, as in no way am I even close to being male.

Second, Steve’s invitation to me was not genuine – it was flippant as we’ve heard from others before. Again, might have been wiser to snap at someone who hasn't contributed significant hours.

I appreciate the assessment of my character – and I’d say those are characteristics I strive for, though no one is perfect and gets it right all the time - integrity and honesty is non-negotiable for me.

I would not hold my breathe on your thoughts – I’m definitely NOT a “yes” person and that definitely was not an intended invitation.

Can we try to be civil and nice on this forum? No reason to meanly attack anyone. It's why I take long breaks from it at times.

SBB is right on the money - be the person online your dog thinks you are.. My participation on this thread and through other channels helps me become more informed/educated and, I hope, allows me to contribute thoughts and suggestions that may be helpful to the community. Life is too short to waste time on personal grievances.

 

sbb glad to see you drop by. Sorry for the delay but life gets in the way sometimes.
I would have hoped the offer was more genuine than it sounds like it was. Perhaps the idea was just being floated to see what kind of reaction it would garner.
I don’t watch the YouTube videos so I have no frame of reference from one speaker to another. I am familiar with Bill and Dave from serving on the board and personal experience. So when someone is referenced in a video they spoke in, unfortunately, it has no value to me. Which is why I place tremendous emphasis and value on someone’s writing style and skill. At one time I was a technical writer for training materials that were delivered to skilled workers in our business. The need to be educated and informed about how the job role was to be performed accurately, safely and efficiently needed to de documented in a training program that was deliverable by a qualified instructor to the students needing to learn the job skills. This job taught me the value of the written word and just how much value one’s words can carry when applied to a specific situation. I find your skills to be of great value and again, would be a valuable asset to the board.
Just by reading your post, it’s clear you have great knowledge and skills that should be shared with others in the boardroom. Not being a pushover nor someone’s laptop is evident. And more importantly, commendable. I see nor read any personal agenda lurking so you are indeed a person of integrity. Spruce up that resume and get it turned in quickly, need to be sure your application is on top.

CM, give it a rest. You are just too much for a low information, not exactly smart, MAGA Brownshirt. I think I summed her up in an earlier post. Her head exploded. Maybe it’s time for fave beans and a nice Chianti.

 

Tomorrow, Thursday April 24 is again another opportunity to showcase where the RCSC board is headed? Will it be a wham, bam thank you mam, or will we/they have a chance to use the time for something more positive? We know with no motions, there will be nothing for members to sign up and talk about.

Who knows what will happen?

We'll see eh?

VIDEO RCSC Board of Directors Meeting – Thursday, April 24, 2025 ONLY 39 minutes long. Very few in attendance as there were NO MOTIONS that members could speak to.

Go to time stamp 34:24 for President Foster’s comments about hiring process progress for new Director of Golf and General Manager. He also said the Bylaws ad hoc committee is already accomplishing a lot, chaired by Director Kise. Member names were not announced. Foster said he believes all who submitted motions for the Annual Membership meeting have been talked with, except for one person.

No reason to explain, CMartinez, again, appreciate your engagement in the concern for Sun City.

No need to spruce up my resume, as I mentioned, "don't underestimate one who has been rudely shut up bringing factual/concerning issues to the table and who is challenged to contribute by serving - particularly someone that has provided much effort and hours towards the betterment of Sun City. Don’t bite the hand that helps you ….. it just might backfire".

Again, thank you for your nice thoughts and support. Smart ones recognize value. ;-) Many can't handle Type A personality. Especially one with high standards.
