Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE has had enough of the vitriol being spewed on every single thread.
I have asked, previously, for consideration and not hijack the discussion. So, what the hell is it going to take to stop this madness from happening over and over again?
There are topics that need attention and the ability to be discussed without this BS that keeps repeating itself on every single thread. This continued INFANTILE exchange is not warranted on any level. Start your own thread and go after each other, and let the other discussions go forward without getting sh*t on at every turn.

Therein lies the problem facing the users of this site. The feeling of entitlement displayed by some users. With such selfishness openly displayed, the blatant disregard for other users, and their desire to drive this site into the ground is a sad reflection of how narcissistic and childish you are.

I have passively searched options for a new community site, one that will be monitored and actively remove abusive behavior. This may be my impetus to learn more what can be accomplished for the benefit of Sun City. I will see if this is an option later next week.

 

I offer a different perspective because I had occasion to hear how she dealt with people in private. I also note that she clearly had an agenda that included tiered seating as she noted in her farewell speech and was not willing to consider alternatives. However, I think it is perfectly OK to have an agenda if you make it clear during your candidacy. I very much respect that she thought she was doing what she thought was right and that was evident from her speech.

So, what have we learned. Don't take it personally. Some old grouches will be perpetually dissatisfied. Everyone has an opinion. Some voice their opinions loudly and consistently. Be careful who you elect. If elected, don't let power go to your head; you were elected by less than 3% of the population. Don't overstate your credentials or abilities. Ask for help when it is needed. Create a master plan that we all can be proud of.
