Had John requested your opinion about the decision to file, which court to file in, and what process he should follow, then your opinion would be valid. The decision to file, what type of court to file in, what type of case to pursue was his alone. John decided to bear the burden of filing, serving, and appearing as necessary. He didn’t want a class action lawsuit against the RCSC for his own reasons. You can espouse your knowledge, but the simple truth is, it was not your decision to make.
The desired result didn’t happen, so may I suggest to let it be. John sought counsel and has made a decision. Continuing to belay the point is useless and it’s time to move on to something else. Trying to make the case for a class action suit is moot, the case is withdrawn.

 

Sorry, not trying to single you or anyone out. My frustration comes from reading post after post about pending legal actions or threats of them. My frustration comes from threads where the value of what is being said is diminished by the constant bickering and back and forth that takes the discussion off course and as you noted, drives readers away.

I block Josie's comments, i see no upside in the useless back and forth between us. If i want to read what is said, i can easily find it. If i do, more often than not i ignore it. It's better for those trying to follow the site. My preference is to not block anyone but if that's the only way to ignore the mindless responses then that's what i will do.
