Excuse me for being skeptical, with all we have been thru recently, are we to assume the agreement has not been approved yet, and there is still a chance they may not be? We were told the Bell library was a done deal already, signed, sealed and delivered and that turned out not to be true as are so many other things.

Key word is execute. Deal is signed by RCSC and Co Library board; only needs Co Supervisor’s blessing. Don’t knock progress no matter how painful.

Thanks for posting this, Mike. It is on the agenda for the Maricopa County's Supervisor meeting. Let's hope it passes. I believe it will and we can put this in the past. I use the library's often and appreciate that we have two right here in Sun City.

It is on the agenda, it will pass and the contract will be executed. The wheels of government grind slowly.

To the people who think we are operating without a contract, 5he RCSC has a memorandum of understanding with the County stating that the County will execute a contract. Any first year law student or experienced paralegal would know this.

Hooray! We can put this controversy behind us and enjoy our wonderful libraries and their activities for another five years.
