Sun City Arizona is the BEST!!!

For those that bought here in Sun City of course it's the best! Who would admit to purchasing a home in a town that wasn't the best.

The actual reason it's the best is because of cost. Every list states it's the best bang for your buck. it's always on the most 'affordable' places to retire, not the best overall place to live.

I didn't purchase here so I feel differently about SC. I thought it was an awesome place in the 80's and 90's and even the very early 2000's. It was much nicer, had more places to go. Sure, the homes on the lake are nice but driving around you see the age of SC in the homes. There are CCR violations all over the place, especially South of Grand. Makes me wonder if the old 'easier to ask forgiveness than permission' is the policy here.

I used to walk on the golf courses after hours. It was an escape from blacktop and concrete for exercise, not to mention cooler in the summer. Now we can't do that anymore.

And yes, Bill this is what I originally wrote. You know I save everything.

It's a real bugger when you delete your comments but the header won't go away eh? Was this the one where you told us how awful Sun City is?

And so we are really clear (i have written it about 1oo times), Sun City is the most unique community of it's kind, simply because it was the first of its kind. I seldom/rarely say it's best or better than others. That's such a subjective (based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions) and everyone thinks there's is the best. Hell, i think you even suggested that before you tried to erase your comments.

I wondered where the ramblings about how awful Sun City was went to. Glad to see it deleted. My first thought after reading the disparaging remarks was, "If you hate it so much, why are you still here?" My second thought was, "I hope she grew a conscience and realized how small it made her appear."

Thanks for the facts, Bill. Anxious to see what you have to follow up on.

The minute i saw the results from the article on the 401K Specialist website i thought back on the poorly thought out remarks on how bad Sun City is, has become. This has been the mantra from the day she first joined back in Dec of 2023. It was one of the reasons she was removed from the social media sites i was an admin on. Our goals included building a sense of community. Her comments simply didn't fit and she was invited to leave.

She came here to continue the assault and the insults on both me and the community i love. She absolutely hated when people agreed with anything i wrote and went after them verbally for liking my comments. There is no moderation here. There are no rules, it can just become an ugly mess as we have all seen and some of us have engaged in.

The problem is simple: Most of the folks who post or read TOSC love it here. While Tom Marone and i can go toe to toe over the political crap, we are both second generation Sun City residents who want the best for this community. We have no agenda that includes seeing it fail.

I posted the to 10 including the 4 data points for each above. Interesting information included and we'll dig deeper when i get back.

There was nothing awful about Sun City Bill. Just a little research I did about how other people feel about their town. Sun City is the best for you, just as every other town is the best for those that live there. Period, that's all folks. I am not like you and Dave. I mentioned Zelienople PA and McComb IL. But think what you will, I don't care. It doesn't matter if I post, don't post, delete a post you will attack me. It's that hate gene all democrats have.

BTW your guy Walz sure did look like an idiot. His son did not witness a shooting. He was inside the building. Dude is a compulsive liar. 33 visits to China.....no wait...15. No not there during the Thieneman Square horror show, it was later.

And now we have the news about the 2nd man? slapping the crap out of his girlfriend so hard it spun her around. No comment from "all women should be believed all the time" Harris.

Have a good rest of the day Bill.

BTW Chris is the Queen of deleting first posts on a thread, so you should really ask her. She has about 10 to my one.

It should be noted that Sun City is the oldest of the 10 communities but still is in the top 10 and is arguably more affordable than the other 9. That doesn't make it better or worse. As i mentioned above, it does make us the most unique of all of them out there. The other piece of the puzzle has been and still is that Sun City has provided the blueprint for others to try and emulate.

It's so pathetically sad that an actual discussion on Sun City making the top 10 has to have the political crap shoved in our face. It speaks volumes regarding the poster who started down the road of what a awful place Sun City is to live and then tried to delete her remarks but the headline would not go away.

Meanwhile, JD, the cat’s meow Vance couldn’t say that trump lost the last election, said trump saved the ACA, I guess while trying to repeal it which I admit is quite a feat, and never did the peaceful transfer of power where the incumbent who was defeated never showed up at the inauguration of his successor. Rather he slipped out of town like a whiny little puppy aboard AF 1 to his garish home in FLA, which later held hundreds of stolen classified documents. And no Tom, he was not entitled to them under the Presidential Records Act, the law you never read.

He was certainly more entitled to them than the documents found in Biden's garage or Mike Pence's home. How come you say nothing about Joe having those doc's?

Can we not turn this one into a shirt show of political nonsense?

Sun City making the #6 spot is incredible news. Celebrate the good stuff and leave the other out in the other threads.

    Thank you.

Oh sure Bill! You have been trash talking here forever, however when Bill talks people are supposed to listen. I started this on the Non SC thread. you chose to join in with your trash talk. Was listening to the longshoremen boss speak today. Foul trash talk must be a union boss thing. I never knew.

Your boy Tim, you know the one who became friends with the Sandy Hook shooters, bombed bigly and now you want all political talk to stop.

Because they turned them over to the National archives as soon as they were found as opposed to trump playing hide the sausage with them. Biden and Pence’s immediate notification and return of the documents basically cleared them of wrong doing. Can’t say the same for trump.

Was the airspace closed for Trump and his photo op? I see trump has a Go Fund Me page with about $4 million in it. Will the victims of the hurricane ever see any of it? He has a pretty lousy track record on things like this.

Don’t know but this isn’t in effect for hours and hours. They don’t believe in dropping appear towels from 10,000 feet or ground level. Any word on trump’s latest grift. I hope the DOJ, the AGs for the affected States are watching this clown as well as his sons Uday and Usay.
