Does the data and trends support the cost to build a Sun City theater?

Unfortunately animals can become an unaffordable luxury for low income Seniors. Since you mention Nextdoor frequently I’m sure you’ve seen the numerous postings by Josie, harping about a $6000 vet bill, $150 shots and $80 pills for her two aging dogs.

Ah! Another one on the beat the crap out of Josie bandwagon. Yes it cost me that much. That is why I ran into financial trouble and wanted to ask for help for my assessment fee this year, but as I am sure you know no one gives a shit who I am. I did not want to see my dogs suffer. I have had them for many years. Until Dementia Joe took office I was fine. Prices were reasonable. The shots are $150 each so they don't get them anymore. The pills were people pills and because I was not aware of that I paid what the vet told me to pay. I showed the bottle to Walgreens and yes I can get them for a lot less.

Are you happy now? Do you like making people feel like crap. Most on here do. I did not realize Bill was such a wimp that he needed an army to stand behind him as protection for a little old lady.

So far it's a three way tie for the most hatred shown on a social media platform. Chris has her little minions bashing/reporting me on Nextdoor, however there are some tells that alert me.

Thank you so much for adding to the hate mix. I have been pondering what I should do. I know now. I am sure I have seen some posts or maybe you even spoke at an exchange meeting about being a 3rd generation Sun Citian. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Karma has a way of finding hate. Best of luck.

You are a real son of a bitch. Attack me, leave my dogs alone. They are 13 and 15, old and sick. Thank you for pointing out the inevitable. Just so you know the 15 year old is on Rx food at $70/case. $140/month. I live on $1300/month and always seem to make it. Would you like my address so you can come and just punch me in the gut?

All of you started in on me because of Bill. You know it and so do I. Right now I am pissed off beyond control. Enjoy seeing your lovely statements on social media. Yeah sue me Dave. it's your thing. Keep in mind you can't get blood from a turnip.

And here they are! What is the problem?

This was the topic of that thread on ND

    https://www.azfamily.com/2024/06/11...abandoned-dogs-county-without-animal-control/

My point was that with rising costs EVERYWHERE we may see a lot more of this:

Sadly I would bet we will see more and more of this. I have adopted many dogs thru my life and the two I have now will be my last which makes me cry. 6k in vet bills in one year. Vet wants to give them each a shot once a month at $150 per shot. I live in SSI and just can't do it any more. I will max out my cards for these two and I hope they live much longer. Both around 14/15 now.

Tony The thought of life without a dog or two makes my stomach hurt. I pay more for their Rx diet food than my groceries cost. Something is just not right here.

Crissi The 6k issue was with 2 mistakes. I had no recourse. I like my new vet but $150 for 1 shot times 2 dogs!!! I paid $80 for 20 pills I found out later I could have paid $40 for 40 pills at Walgreens! Our country is a mess.

    Show me the "NUMEROUS" posts.

You need to do some research. I use to have to give my dog an allergy injection every 2 weeks. The medication in the States was over $150 dollars so I ended up buying it from Canada for about $40 bucks!

That was several years ago though, but good luck!

I have done the research. Once again the $80 was for human meds that dogs could take. The vet did not tell me that and sometimes you are just stuck paying what you have to. That is why I asked Walgreens about it. As usual people just want to beat the crap out of me. There was absolutely NO reason for the post by 3genaz other than to be an ass. I have more posts by him/her. Doesn't like poor people and it lies.

You poked the freakin bear ONE too many times.

Is your sister no longer a Realtor here in Sun City? Surely she can point you to someone appropriate for you....

First, I thought you were going to ignore me, personally I didn’t believe it. That said, I wasn’t going to sue you because it takes veritable cause of action supported by facts and damages. Something the MAGA group seems not to understand or that doofus judge in the Anne Stewart suit seemed not to grasp.

Since I have been involved in this scenario three times with aging pets, are you keeping them alive for your benefit or theirs? Not trying to rain on your parade but sometime it is best that they cross the Rainbow Bridge where you will meet them later. Did you ever think the reason you did not receive assistance on fees was because of your dogs? I’m not cold hearted but I would have turned you down because you had the money but spent it not on your health but the dogs. Again the question, you keeping them alive for your benefit or theirs? I know the answer.

Well hopefully a draft five-year plan will surface soon, and we will all have a chance to reflect on what is possible and what is doable.

I hope so! The duel between two of the posters on this site are causing me to lose respect and patience for them. To them: Take a step back and look at what you are writing and consider your age and maturity.

I will say this one more time. What 3genaz and dapper dave were attacking me for was a post on Nextdoor where a cop was told to shoot 7 dogs because they had no space for them. A very sad situation indeed

If you think that statement calls for the bullshit I took from 3genaz and Dave so be it.

No wonder Sun City is in the shape it's in. A bunch of hateful narcissists run the joint.

Obviously heard about the post and did not see it with his own eyes.

I know the answer. I am not keeping them alive. Do you take Alieve? That's what the shot was. We are going a different, less expensive route, but you would have known that if you just took the time to ask, but you would have had to show kindness to do that.

I am not on Nextdoor and have no idea what it is. Consequently, making up stuff about me again? Do your Oak Lawn residents know my family? It seems to me you never answer specific questions about Oak Lawn, are you a false flag? Here is a cream puff question, what was displayed in Ratajik’s pharmacy that had no real reason being there? Not a trick question, any long time resident from the 1950’s would know this right away. Extra credit, where did he get the display? Let’s see how you dodge this one.

Sorry John, but you must realize this woman has dropped more dimes than an informant in a Chicago street gang. Why does she avoid questions any resident would know immediately? She finds some info from FB account that hasn’t been used in 8 years and acts like she knows everything about me. Then runs this attorney thing a few times thinking it intimidates me. You know my background and her alleged probate attorney doesn’t scare me. She should be worried more about abuse of process. Consequently, it is her time to put up or STFU.

You are scaring the hell out of me. You are way too Rabid about Oak Lawn. I was born in Christ Community Hospital. I don't remember Radclif's but then I am much younger than you and was not allowed to go to 95th street until I was 13 or so. I do remember the original Dove Candy store where I would go and purchase a block of white chocolate. I went to St. Gerald School, then OLCHS. Yes I remember "elevator passes". There was a lagoon on 95th street with a hot house. I ice skated there with my friends a lot. Brandt's tavern. I saw the tornado of 67 and my BIL volunteered with the fire department pulling out bodies from the rubble. Now buzz off and quit being a stalking freak.
