My take: It is very difficult for members to know what is really going on with the important stuff so we have to speculate. So here goes; The libraries: Management is confident they will reach an agreement by year end. T Bird Property: We will either have a purchase agreement or not by the end of the June. Editorial comment translation: Who cares if we really need another property to maintain it is a "great deal". Come on! Mountainview/Theater: Four bids from architects have been received and are being reviewed. This will enable this ill defined project to "move "forward" without sufficient justification. Susan B said it best and I paraphrase: We have 34M PIF funds and you are telling us you are spending it all on some kind of theater somewhere, something for Mountainview and the Quail Run nine hole golf course but we do not have a long range plan? And who is making those decisions behind closed doors? At least almost all the votes were unanimous.
Finally viewed the BOD meeting. Yes $6,000,000 to make repairs and changes to golf course without having the promised 5 year plan in place. Who is on 1st?
