It' what most members forget or don't know or understand: The board's work never ends and most often isn't even seen.

Why is the 2024 Annual Membership Meeting in March, instead of the usual time late in the year?

I believe they were always, typically, held in February?

The reason the meetings were held late in the year was because back in 2021 when we were finally released from the Covid quarantine we still had to hold an Annual Membership Meeting before the end of the year per our bylaws.

It was decided by the GM this year that we should go back to earlier in the year because too many things are going on at the end of the year with the holidays and the elections of the board of directors.

And....don't forget to vote for your favorite board of director candidates on Tuesday at Lake View, Social Hall #2, 8 am. to 4 pm.

On top of everything else that has happened and that is going on, top of your list should be Tom's comment above (re-posted here for emphasis):

"And....don't forget to vote for your favorite board of director candidates on Tuesday at Lake View, Social Hall #2, 8 am. to 4 pm."

If you haven't or won't vote on line, you can do so in person Tuesday. That is exactly what i will be doing and here are my four candidates:
    1).Anita Borski.
    2). Connie Jo Richtmyre.
    3). Jim Rough.
    4). Preston Kise.

I agree. These four candidates have been consistently engaged, attending meetings, asking questions of various committee members to become more informed, and sharing their ideas. They have varied professional backgrounds and experiences that should also be valuable. I have found all of them to be community focused.

Mike, The Bylaws Review Committee recommended that the Annual Membership Meeting be held in March for two reasons. One, the financials from the previous year would be available. 2. It would be the best time to get snowbirds to attend.
