I heard a rumor that Barnes & Noble might be going out of business. I just gooled for information and there doesn't seem to a consensus of opinion about what is going on. Just in case they do, I think I will send my B&N gift card to my grandson right away.
It would not surprise me, as printed material is not as popular. I would miss the overall atmosphere of B&N. Have even had Bible studies in their coffee area.
I didn't expect such prompt replies. Guess I'd best send the gift card now. The kids will be surprised. But that is what Grandmas do.
Borders went out of business nationally. I know B&N has shut down many locations across the country. With so much of the content being digital it is a hard model for them to sustain. They will have to reinvent themselves in my opinion to stay relevant.
