On a different social media platform…yep, looks like an alliance to me! Stella and Kat have campaigned together. They met with a group to answer questions. Stella told the group that she, Kat and Allan weren’t exactly on a slate together. However, if they are elected, Darla and maybe another board member, would be a majority vote to change things around.
I will state an opinion that may not be popular with many, but here it goes anyways. I know Stella has gotten a bad rap on this board, for whatver percieved reason their may be. I will also tell you, I know Stella that did all she could to be a thorn in Jan Ek's side. When there were several discussions about changes to certain items, Stella stepped up and took on an adversarial stance and challenged Jan's intent as to her reasons. Stella also asked pointed questions of Jan regarding items which involved the spending monies that the entire board should have questioned. Stella is a person of integrity and never did sell out to the crowd mentality that is the board of directors. I know for a fact it put her in the crosshairs, more than once, of certain retread board members who were not appreciative of Stella questioning the status quo. I used the "retread" word knowingly, as it is important to know who it is that has been a driving force behind some insideous behind some decisions that have been made which should have been severely questioned by these board members as a part of the fiduciary duties. I also still have a great deal of respect for Kat's abilities, skills and knowledge which she will bring to the board. It is because of these inherent traits and ingrained knowledge I support her. What she knows and will be able to accomplish is so much in need for this community and its members. There has alwasy been member cliques that have had a say in the direction the elections and those elected have been chosen. Most of the time it has been the golf contigent that has had a direct influence on the vote and the vote outcome. This is why it is so extremely important to support candidates who have the skills and abilities this community needs to prosper in the future. I do not have any personal knowledge of any election or candidate alliance to be able to speak in any manner as to what it being done or organized by any of the candidates. What I can and will say is thay my personal experience with those in question has always been one of honesty, integrity and a distint willingness to keep the membership in the forefront of the RCSC activities. I also feel sure there is an undercurrnt being fostered by certain BOD members. I have nothing tangible to be able to point fingers or name names, but I know how some of these people think, having been on the board and do have concerns that all is being done above board. One more reason it is so important to have as many voters out in force to get the candidates of choice elected. Please forgive the intrustion, I was not attempting to hijack the thread. I do want only the best outcome for the community in regards to the election. I will now go back into my weeds, and mind my own business. Thanks for your time and attention.

Oh it's okay. I don't run away, I merely find it safer sometimes to be out of the fray and on the sidelines, in the weeds, only to pop out at a later time to offer more peices of sage advise. I don't run away, I just bide my time. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
