We could only look through the window in the door to that large space. This could be Director Schroeder's indoor archery range and might not need a finished floor. Someone must know what this is for sure.

If that's the case aggie, this might not be the time to reveal an archery range someone on the board wanted (if that is true). I guess if they wait till he is off the board, then it won't be a conflict of interest. I can only smile aggie, in that you've been going to meetings as long as i have and i think back to all of the decisions made a long the way. Countless people have run and been elected to get their pet project done. Was it wrong? Who am i to judge? Dis the actions benefit Sun City? That to me is the bottom line.

I just find it ironic the false narratives being thrown around to justify their petty actions. I have some interesting information coming. What has become crystal clear is, the executive session has been used to prevent the community from knowing facts and figures that should be published. So many board candidates have said we need better transparency and better communication and now we come to find out the game has been to keep us from knowing all of the ugly truths.

It's troubling to say the least.

I disagree. I go to most of their board meetings and their Roads & Safety committee meetings. Look at their mission statement:
“To preserve Sun City property values through the fair and consistent application of the CC&Rs (Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions).”
SCHOA does an excellent job. However they try to do more for the community than just the mission statement.

At today's open SCHOA Board meeting, the membership is 4695 as of the end of August. At $25 per member, that comes to $117,375 per year. RCSC has a $15 Million Dollar Budget. SCHOA has to be creative and find other ways to get revenue. SCHOA is a tremendous value. They just haven't been good at getting the word out regarding what they do. They are working hard to change that (IMHO).

SCHOA is the only organization I have found that tries to work with all the entities within Sun City: RCSC, Charities, Posse, Maricopa County (including DOT and Sheriff), Sun City Fire Dept, and much more. I don't see this happening anywhere else. 3 1/2 years in Sun City and I'm still learning.

There is not single entity that can easily provide what Aggie is looking for. At this time, it appears SCHOA is making the best attempt (with very limited resources).

RCSC has their annual Discover Sun City AZ (DSCAZ) meeting each year. Just search for "Discover Sun City AZ" on the RCSC website. The last DSCAZ was January 15, 2020. They did not have one in 2021 due to the pandemic. Check out the video for 2020 at
