Duh! This was a quote from the mayor of Phoenix this morning. If you look up the word "absurd" you'll see this: absurd. adjective. (əbˈsɝːd) Inconsistent with reason or logic or common sense.

The majority of people would say that we saw this coming with our Governor's willingness to bow to Trump's wishes to open the doors to COVID in Arizona. It wasn't a coincidence that we opened right after the Superior Commander's appearance and cuddle-fest with Doucey & Lesko early in May. The spread was guaranteed to explode after the youth rally last month which was also deemed a great privilege to have the indoor rally in our state. Each of the 2500 umasked attendees brought the gift of COVID back to their families, friends and other close contacts.

The announcement this morning also states that Arizona has the largest increase in cases per capita. WOW! What a way to get in the news and record books. The doors are now opened and we all know that the horse has long left the barn.

I'm listening to some Charlie Daniels (he just passed away, not the virus) and "The South's Gonna Do It Again" came on and I couldn't help but thinking that what they are doing now is making sure that the virus keeps gaining traction. If you toss in AZ, which is southern enough and southern CA, the South makes up theentire Top Ten in new cases. "But," as Artie Johnson used to say,"but vat does it mean?"

Thank God this was all going to go away with the hot summer months coming. Does anyone on the right hold this orange buffoon accountable for the stupid crap he peddles? Looks like i will have to add to my reading collection in the coming weeks. Mary Trump's new book appears to be a "delightful" insight into the mind of one very sick mind. Yesterday, with cases at the highest point ever in this country, he proclaimed we are in a "very good place." Unfreaking believable.

Amongst the possible reasons for the Donald acting as he does, I'd say this is one that fits! There are others, for sure.

Just read an article where Jim Harbaugh, Michigan football coach is telling the world to let the college's play ball and schedule classes...no harm because they are young and they just need to do this. It fits perfectly with trump's call for the CDC to dump their expensive and time consuming guidelines and get the kids back in school. Just one question? Who gets held accountable when the death rate soars? If you think that is a foolish question, why in the hell did trump have attendees sign waivers when attending his rallies?

Always fascinating when these alleged smart people are full of great ideas but are unwilling to assume the liability. How about it JH, start the season and when one of your players goes down and dies from it, you do life in prison for murder.

What an ass Harbaugh is. UM matters to me because I worked there for ten years etc. But his claim that we'll know when not playing is the right thing to do is as stupid a statement as I have ever heard. trumpian in it's ignorance and arrogance. We already know it.

Hopefully if they do play all the wonderful citizens that had AR-15 and refuse to wear masks will be sitting elbow to elbow hopefully it'll be humid where you can see your breath and I hope they're yelling and screaming high-fiving and slobbery drunk

Well I can understand your feeling, but the way to get rid of this thing is NOT to keep spreading. It's to act like grown-ups and listen to the folks who know.
