Is There Any Number Too Big?

I try and stay abreast of comments from politician's, especially those who seem wholly unfit to lead. Unfortunately, there's a lot of that going around these days. To emphasize my point, here's some quote's from a governor, a Lt. Governor and our president that have raised my concerns and the ultimate question i will be asking you to respond to.

The first is from Ron DeSantis: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sparked outrage by referring to the Sunshine State as “God’s waiting room” during a briefing about the corona virus pandemic. Those of us living in Sun City have heard that same phrase here and most of us find it insulting.

Next up is Texas Lt. Governor: "No one reached out to me and said, ‘as a senior citizen, are you willing to take a chance on your survival in exchange for keeping the America that all America loves for your children and grandchildren?’” Patrick said. “And if that’s the exchange, I’m all in.”

Finally, this latest tidbit from the president: “There’ll be more death, that the virus will pass, with or without a vaccine. And I think we’re doing very well on the vaccines but, with or without a vaccine, it’s going to pass, and we’re going to be back to normal.”

It's clear from reading these comments we've moved away from keeping people safe to opening up the country and letting the chips fall where they may. The rush to open and get the economy moving is nothing more than trump's only hope to get re-elected. It is the bottom line.

So my question is simple for those of you who love the president: Is there any number of covid 19 deaths that is too big? Is there a point where getting trump re-elected at any cost becomes too high? I'm trying to be objective here, but it is challenging watching us be foolish.

Again they will be the first ones to cry I didn't think it would happen to me. Also the numbers are totally off they're not including any nursing homes with correct numbers any prison numbers hiding the VA numbers more lies more deceitadvics manufacturing numbers are being withheld so the public can't see the real picture the numbers here are a total lie. And when the kids start dropping from this virus and end up in a vegetative state they will say it's just the cost of doing business.

And if I'm not mistaken shouldn't the president be under quarantine along with every person that has crossed his path here in the last month? And every single person at the Honeywell plant that came in contact with him but thank God they were wearing masks! In the people that rode in the limousine with him in the pilot co-pilot everybody on the airplane including the news staff

Today I realized America has already crossed the threshold into the realm of the likes of Russia, China, etc. -- those countries that heavily moderate what information is given to its people with little regard for truth. I guess that's what "Make America Great Again" has done to us.
    • Nebraska is now unwilling to share with their citizens the CV-19 infection rates in the towns surrounding the meat packing plants.
    • The CDC is not allowed to recommend guidelines on how to reopen businesses, not even to business owners who ask for them. Instead, the "rocket scientists and epidemic experts" in the White House are deciding what guidelines are appropriate.
    • Some states are considering not releasing their infection/death numbers at all, are modifying the numbers, etc.
    • Ducy decided the recommendations done by the experts at ASU & UA didn't give him the answers Trump gave him so he chooses Trumps answers and reopens the state while infection/death rates are still increasing.
    • The DOJ has decided not to prosecute Mike Flynn -- in spite of the evidence and two signed admissions he broke the law.
    • Nearly 100 environmental safeguards either have been or are being cancelled so businesses can make more money by disregarding your health, safety and climate effect.
So much for the hallmarks of democracy-- transparency of government, rule of law, safeguard the people, protect the environment, etc. When will enough be enough? Is it too late already?

Well, as myRepublican friend frequently tell me, the US is not a democracy, it is a republic. Yeah, like the People's Republic of __________ (fill in the blank).

I couldn’t agree more ic, it looks like the impending sign of the apocalypse. Later today or tomorrow i will post deaths in three states with deep ties to trump. They are some of the most egregious in opening up and yet they are nowhere near meeting the White House guidelines (yup, the ones they have tossed aside).

At the one moment in time we need strong capable leadership, we find ourselves following the “king of chaos.”
