Okay, if this happens I hope he practices what he encourages in his followers. What is that? Make sure not to wear a mask, eat at restaurants, take plenty of rushed FDA approved drugs and encourage mass gatherings of his MAGA supporters.

I can't wait to see one of his number one followers in whom I am soooo disappointed. Let her greet him unmasked, shake hands, do a lot of close talking and make sure to agree with everything he says. Who is this person? This is how she is described in the local newspaper:

"Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., who was a leading Trump defender during his impeachment trial, praised the president's handling of the coronavirus emergency and said she is excited to welcome him back to Arizona."

Seniors are in serious jeopardy in Maricopa County. Inadequate widespread testing and poor safety practices by Trump supporters keep us in danger of contracting COVID 19. It is NOT weakness to wear a mask!!

Like almost every republican out there they have sold their soul to all things trump. Debbie is no exception. Sad to see so many have compromised their values so as not to offend the president. It will be interesting to see when he is gone how they recover their dignity.

D L was always a republican tramp. The only reason she did anything for us peasants was to climb the ladder to DC. She could care less for Sun City

Yup, DL is, IMHO, just a party flag bearer/mouthpiece. When she was first elected here she was borderline stupid. That actually was good for SC sometimes because she'd blindly fight for things we told he to. That, of course, changed when she moved to the state, and now national, level -- her committee performances that were televised show she has few original thoughts, mostly reads scripts given to her. Her nicey nicey letters/ads, designed to make us feel like she's got our back, are actually annoying to me since I know it's just BS -- she'll never take a position different than her party elders, regardless of what's best for SC. We could do a lot better.

The following is from an article about armed demonstrators in Michigan "demanding" the state be reopened in spite of still growing infection and death toll numbers.

I expect something similar here -- DJT will tweet "free Arizona" prior to his visit and our state's cadre of maniacs, who consider their guns to be the measure of their manhood, will demonstrate in support of their bone spur coward. Hopefully no one pulls a trigger, but if they do I know where I would wish the bullet ricochets, and let there be no Secret Service agent in the way.

I am preparing a posting for elsewhere on this topic, and have collected a bunch of pictures from all over the country of armed demonstrators. But the bottom line is, "What is the message here?" What is folks showing up at political events armed to the teeth supposed to convey? Hard to come up with much beyond "We might need to shoot someone," and since I am as often as not on the other side from these types, that means me. I used to hear from my Right friends complain how scary an antifa person holding a stick was. Not so scary now, bringing a stick to a gun fight.

So if I am reading you correctly you are advocating that the President be killed.....?

No, GC, that is not what he said. What he said was , "Hopefully no one pulls a trigger,". Nothing said after that could be considered advocating anything.

Just to lighten the load a bit, here's one of my favorites from the president: “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” Maybe to help get us through these tough times we should play some of his greatest hits over the last couple of months. Of course you all can say he never said that, but the video of him being the cheerleader in chief is readily available.

For my money, my take is come November, that miracle should take place. To help us all get in the mood, here's a piece by recently departed Leonard Cohen. RIP old man, awesome music brother.

Easy for a Canadian to say. Still I find it overly optimistic. Is it really coming? When my friends say, "The USA is a republic, not a democracy." With straight faces.

Wear a mask/don't wear a mask -- seems like either might kill ya...

Debbie, please cough and then sneeze in IQ45’s face then welcome him to the land of guns, RVs, pickups and the white people who love them.

As a member of the impeachment defense team in the House and Senate, where exactly did you say you graduated from law school? Just asking because your local office never responded to my inquiry.

Surprise, surprise. With the Supreme One visiting today our esteemed Governor is throwing open the doors to COVID 19. Just when I thought he had some backbone and was holding the line to protect AZ seniors he does an about-face. The first of a 3 weekend Testing Blitz is the reason he claims the ratio of tests to positive results gives him enough information to open services to the public. Shouldn't he wait the 3-5 days it takes to get the tests processed? Let's just see what the results show in the next week. They also claim that there were no new deaths when I don't think they include deaths in Navajo County for those on Reservation land.

Here was his February 19 COVID 19 gift to Arizona. We don't need another!

I'm hard at work trying not to be a statistic but it dos seem as if folks are doing their best to thwart, like the family in Fry's no masks and she is coughing all over the place.

Remember "What goes around comes around" and peeing in any part of the pool has an effect on all swimmers? Well our Teflon, non-mask wearing, "of course some people will die" etc. Supreme Leader will find out the terror of not knowing if he has contracted COVID 19 from his non-mask wearing personal valet that serves him his meals. I will not wish death but will hope he experiences some of the angst shared by all other humans especially seniors.

I don't wish death on anyone either, but he does need a good dose of reality about CV-19 -- this could be the chance. Oxygen or intubation would be sufficient.
