I also thank you for posting the list of email addresses. This also works for those of us who think opposition to this bill is nothing but another grab for attention by a small group. Once the lawsuit is dropped and the PIF is safe I'd be willing to revisit the issue of resorting to legislation to mandate the RCSC follow all Title 33 rules.

It is hard not to be rude, snarky or even embarrassed by this open display of misinformation which is video taped and available for reference on the AZ Leg site. It also seems that so many in both the Senate & House have no idea how large Sun City is, how many recreation facilities the RCSC has, the fact that we are in unincorporated Maricopa County with no local government other than our County Supervisors, that Sun City Home Owners Association has all responsibility for enforcement of each home's CC&Rs with only a voluntary $20 a year membership, and buyers in Sun City are responsible for doing their due diligence to know what is involved in their decision to purchase a home here.

    Sunday sermon over....

The reason I rarely post any more is because this forum just seems to talk politics.

I would like more info such as what to do and where to go in and round Sun City.

How is South Mountain Park. Is it easy to get to from SC and worth a visit?

Pegmih - there is absolutely no reason you cannot start your own thread on topics you are interested. My biggest complaint of this forum and almost every other one I use, is the posters constantly post off topic. They completely convolute the thread by posting info or questions not related to the topic.

If the thread topic is "where to go in Sun City", users should keep the topic confined to places to go in Sun City.

If you are talking about Sun City politics, yes there are many posts to this forum that may seem political, but in most cases the topics I've seen definitely affect the quality of life in Sun City. They affect us all and this is a very good place to discuss topics relate to to Sun City.

Again, consider starting your own thread topic.

    Hi folks,

Taking a nap, woke up, and saw such a whirlwind of activity. Bill, it will be my great honor to post your message electronically to all those listed above. Your eloquence and elegance of speech will be lost on no one. My letter, well lets face it, will be in my usual writing style; blunt.

The GM has taken over the RCSC and control of the Board of Directors and is rewriting the very fabric of Sun City life to meet the needs of her own management style. She is an extremely smart woman, who, through various methods and means, has hijacked the BOD of the RCSC, and has rewritten, remanded, and redirected the very fabric of what Sun City is supposed to be as a community. Read and look at our Corporate Documents, then read what the bylaws state and it is clear there is a directional shift from meet the needs of the residents to be beholding to the corporation.

The Planned Communities Act of Title 33 of the Arizona Revised Statutes was written expressly so as not to have boards hijacked and led astray by General Managers or other Board Members. Which is why it is even more dire to please vote NO on SB1094. This resurrected piece of "legislation" does not deserve to see the light of day and begs for your "NO" vote in earnest. The damage done already to Sun City is egregious at best, please do not allow anymore damage come to our wonderful community. Please save us from those who seek to hold us hostage as a note of revenge for a lawsuit she felt would never come to fruition. This vendetta should not be played out in the everyday lives of the people who call Sun City home. Vote NO on SB1094.
