I am watching the video from December 10. The woman who just spoke about mini golf and children's hours and non rcsc people from out in town using the course etc. Has my total respect. She voiced some of the concerns she said back in June and was told she would hear back from the board and did not. She had to state everything over last night. And was told they would get back to her. She kept her cool. Perhaps there is more to this story that I don't know.

Do children need to pay for a visitor day pass for swimming and mini golf?

I took my 13 year old granddaughter to one of the pools during children hours and I had to use my visitor punch card for her. So yes, I had to pay for her to use the pool.

It was odd listening to the exchange at the meeting. I wasn't sure what the woman was asking for and it became clear, neither did the board. Once she had a chance to further explain, she wanted children to be allowed on mini-golf courses at predetermined courses and pre-set times so residents who didn't want to interact with kids just not go there then.

Seems to me they started the meet the board program a couple of years back. A good idea, but only if there is in fact follow through. In this case, it appears there was not a clear understanding when she presented her original argument back in June and it would behoove any board member meeting with residents to understand what it exactly is by the time they leave. That way follow up becomes mush easier.
