Remove Sticky Pad From Dashboard Safely.

    My van is several years old and was from Florida and has had a sticky pad on the dash all that time.
    I would like to remove it but am afraid by pulling it off I will damage the dashboard either tearing it because of the glue backing
    or be sorry I didn't just leave it alone. Appreciate your thoughts and suggestions ... Thank You.

    There are 2 things that you can try...

    GOO GONE... works great on getting of the sticky part...

    The other thing I would try is called un-du label remover..

    both they could work... with the un-du you can work it into it and it might just pop of easy as it frees it up...

    Try going to a car dealer of you make and asking them.

    I've heard a hair dryer or heat gun can also help remove without damage. Then use goo gone to clean the residue off.
