After this weeks events, i have to say i am so thankful for finding Sun City. The hatred and vitriolic attitudes of so many outside the walls is almost beyond comprehension. I pop over to City Data and find it almost beyond belief how much people love spewing the venom that has become the norm of our society. There's no question, the actions witnessed in Baton Rouge, Dallas and Minnesota have been a blight on our country. Throw in the anger over Hillary not being burned at the stake and one quickly begins to appreciate how great a place Sun City is. God help our country, because it most assuredly needs it.
Sorry to change the subject of this thread but having trouble with this site and posting a new thread..... Would like some input on Dial a Ride...my sister is in SC and is concerned that she would have long wait times, and get stranded ... .......Couldn't find any reviews on line Again , sorry to hijack BPs thread....there is a strong sense of being apart from the worlds problems "inside the walls" of SC.

I agree with Peg, she may be better off with the discount/green cabs. seems to me they have fixed rates for seniors if you stay in Sun City. There are times when i feel guilty about living behind the walls and locking out all the ugliness...but then it passes very quickly.

I'm almost ready to declare a technology free, news free week. The way we "humans" treat each other is ridiculous.
