Sorry sicko's, no old farts in bondage on this site. SM being obviously social media. Back in the days while serving on the board we talked about the potential of greater use of social media to promote Sun City to those younger, technological boomers who knew nothing about us. As the chair of the communications committee, we had grand plans and little experience to implement them. Now some 4 years later we have multiple websites and our very own Facebook page, but is it enough? Should we look beyond the obvious and find better ways to promote the community? Rather than me blathering on, what and how can we do it better? Are there things we need do as a collective project within the walls to expand our presence outside the walls? Thoughts please.
YES One sub-committee of the LRP Committee, that is DESPERATELY needed, should be a Long Range Tech Committee. 1st thing to do is get an inventory of what we DO have. 2nd thing, clean and consolidate what we have. 3rd thing (can be in concert with one and two), survey the community and the existing...... I could go on.....
