Car Shows/Day Trips from Sun City

We have two classic cars in the garage...a 1964 1/2 Mustang and a 67 VW Bug. We restored the bug, pan off, and rebuilt it in the garage of our other house. The Mustang we also rebuilt and even set up a paint booth in the garage right under the HOA's nose. I did not love our former HOA so it was a hoot to roll that car out when we were finished. We have participated in some of the smaller car shows and plan on jumping back in this fall. The Goodguys show is nice and we also plan on going to the Barret Jackson show in Oct/Nov. Put us in the classic car junkies category.

 

I love cars!! I myself used to have a 1963 corvette... I loved that car... miss it

 

bmac you can always obtain another one when you get here. We see many classic cars here to go with the classic homes. I think the only regret is that my husband did not add another garage.

 

I'm a big car nut! I owned a 66 and 65 conv Mustang and a 65 Fastback. Is your 64 1/2 a convertible? I've considered getting another one but think I would go resto mod and put all the latest drivetrain, fuel injection, suspension, brakes, etc under it.

Are there any car clubs in Sun City Arizona?

 

There is a car club in Sun City (and/or very close by) - - (check out the Sun City Club Listings)
:courage: -- my neighbors belong to it -- and have a wonderful time - - show off their old auto and they have met many new friends through that club.
