Is it fish or is it fowl? Still trying to figure out Christmas Do Wop could possibly be, so I guess the best way to find out is to show tonight (Tuesday December 8) at the Sun Dial Rec Center.

Here's the particulars from the RCSC website:

Christmas Doo Wop Extravaganza Concert – Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 7pm – Sundial Auditorium
•Featuring The Diamond Vocal Band & The Sheer Delights
•FREE for RCSC Cardholders and their escorted guests only
•General admission; Doors open at 6pm
•Be prepared to show RCSC Member or Privilege Card for entry (no key fobs accepted)
•Complimentary hot apple cider & cocoa will be served

    Should be fun.

Hey fixj; still scratching my head a bit but I think I get it. First off there was a great crowd (always is for free shows). Got there about 7:15 and stayed for 15 minutes or so. The three woman group were doing girl band songs from the 60's and 70's. Good stuff and lot's of fun.

Before I left they announced the 2nd half of the show would be out soon and they finished up with medley by the Andrew's Sisters (something for everyone eh?). My guess is the last half of the show was to be Christmas music.

Perhaps someone stayed longer than me and can fill us in.

Finally heard the second half of the show was nothing short of spectacular. The Diamond vocal band (originally the Diamonds) took the stage and were one kick-ass show. My friend said the best part was the history and stories woven in with their music. They dated back to the mid 50's and apparently made 50 plus appearances on Dick Clark's American Bandstand.

I also heard ticket sales for the winter/spring indoor concert series has been exceptional. No surprise given the lineup of talent.
