Once again the day couldn't be more full with events on Tuesday the 10th from morning til night! If you don't have seat belt restraints, this is a chance you don't want to miss. The seat belt for the driver's side is free and a mere $10 if you want a passenger belt installed. The number of belts are limited so first come...first served.

The Retirement Association of Sun City is sponsoring the free golf car seat belt program for Sun City residents. The giveaway event is 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the Sun Bowl, 10220 N. 107th Ave. What a great effort by volunteers from local groups doing the installing and traffic control.

If you get the seat belts or already have them, they only are effective if you use them!:encouragement:

Thanks aggie for the info. I wouldn't ride in a golf car without them.

Just a word to the wise, bring a good book, magazine, Kindle or your Ipad (the wifi should work in the Bell parking lot), installing belts is a slow process so even if you get there early, expect a wait. Most of us can't get up early enough in Sun City to beat those old timers who like to arrive and hour and half before any event begins.

Bill....have to make a correction to your post. The seat belt installation will be at the SUN BOWL. The event last time was at Bell so this time they moved it to a southern site. There will be a crowd so be patient. This turns out to be quite a social event.

Thanks aggie. I think there may be wifi at the Sun Bowl, but if not, hanging out with other's waiting in line and complaining about how long it takes is always popular in the community.

Sorry V, but Sun City is worser (too funny) than others. When you live in a virtual Utopian setting we have to really look to find something to whine about.

Dang, I was hoping to have something in common with the majority.
