4n6 - What a game.

Loved the bat flip. Do you all have what it takes to get past the Royals?

 

Crazy series, I thought they were out of it with loosing the first two games. Hmmmm the bat flip, he is taking some heat for it but hey, heat of the moment with all that occurred at the top of the seventh. I think they were really tested with this series and should get by the Royals....hoping anyways!!

 

Awww, he gets a pass on the bat flip, as far as I am concerned. That was probably the most important HR of his career, and it meant something - his team is playing for the AL championship.

 

That 7th inning of the Toronto/Texas game was unbelievable. Caught an interview with Sam Dyson (Texas reliever who served up the home run to Bautista) and he was whining. Geez dude, quit the moaning and accept the loss for what it was...crappy baseball on Texas's part.

The crowd was ugly though...I didn't think Canadian's were that angry a bunch.

 

I think any crowd can get ugly when fortified with malt liquor.

I was at the Reds game where Rose "bumped" Pallone. The crowd was full of idiots (I did not and would not throw anything), I've never seen an umpire run off the field and not come back like Pallone did. Rose got a 30 day suspension (the beginning of the end for him) and the broadcasters "were summoned" to the Giamatti's NY office for "inciting a riot".
