Was chatting with a friend who is a realtor the other day and he said there were 27 new listings this week alone in Sun City. He also claimed at their agents meeting there were 4 realtors who had clients looking to rent for the winter season. No surprise there as folks serious about finding the right 55+ community are well advised to try them before they buy them. On another note, drove by the Acuity Long Term Acute Care facility in phase 2 of Sun City. They just closed their doors a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to see what this place looked like. It's simply gorgeous and I couldn't help wonder what it would take for the RCSC to pick it up and convert it into a B&B or better yet make it a Play and Stay. Here's the article to the closing from the Daily News Sun. While some argue the Sun City housing market can't get any hotter, I would speculate we have not even scratched the surface.
