Both the Sun City Posse and Visitor Center accept cell phones.

I have a couple of extra phones around the house for emergencies.
They will only dial 911. I have them located on a bottom shelf in kitchen & living room.

Several people I know have fallen and not been able to get up to a phone but they could have crawled to a phone. One person was on the floor for 12 hours until a friend got concerned.

If you did a master reset you should be good to go. The only other thing would be removal of the SIM cards if they have them.

What is "Master Reset" and how do I know if phone has a SIM card?

I have a Tracfone that is always in my purse at home or when I go some place.
I rarely use it. My kids thought I should have it for emergencies.
    They pay for it!

I traveled alone for 6 months in SE Asia and India. Pre-credit card days (had $1,000 cash in a money belt for expenses). I just followed my whims with no written itinerary... so no one knew where I was at. Never called home because it cost too much. Now I also carry a cell phone when I walk the dogs.
