We were in SC this past weekend setting up the house with a few pieces of furniture etc so we would have a place to stay when we come down for visits between now and when we can really move there full time (forgive the run on sentence). One of the last things we did, before heading back to Seattle was drop off our "Vacation Watch" form at the Posse Headquarters. Turns out, that was a very smart move on our part - the Posse called an hour or so ago to tell us we had left one of our sliding doors unlocked. Even before dropping off our vacation watch form, we had met BP and his wife. Mrs BP (I'm sure she would love that title) gave us their phone number and said - "If you need anything just call". Wellllll - - - we hadn't left a key with anyone, soooooo.....one call and true to their word, BP and the Mrs were there willing and able to help. We told them where we had left a key in the house, and thanks to BP and the Posse, our house is now locked up. THANK YOU, THANK YOU Today, my faith in humanity and neighbors has been restored. Giant cups of coffee, or dinner, at the place of your choosing, coming your way in November BP. Donation and many thanks will be delivered to the Posse. Is this a great community or what?
You know that commercial about having your "aha" moment J? Well in Sun City we call it becoming aware we are "Sun City ready." You've now 100% crossed the line and are officially Sun City ready. Congrats, it happens to all of us sooner or later.
Thanks for the kind words E, but the reality is we bought here in part because that is the fabric of Sun City. We learned early on the importance of being a part of something special meant you helped others out whenever you could. It's been that way since it opened, and Lord willing we'll all help make sure it stays that way.
