Terrible situation. I had cancer and would not wish on anyone. After reading several articles re this situation I believe they will be brought back. The little girl was not going for treatment, it was a check-up. Every article would not comment on the particulars of this family. They did state that the parents came here in 2013, that would be 12 years without doing anything to become documented. Also both parents had numerous jobs over the 12 years. There may be more to the story. This happened in early February and is just now being reported. 1 other similar instance happened in California where an undocumented mother was caring for her daughter who had bone cancer and was not deported.

That being said it appears you are not a fan of laws. I guess if an American citizen had a child with cancer, committed a crime. that person should not go to jail because it would separate that person from the child.

I absolutely believe in the rule of law, of the norms we have survived under for years. Watching our constitution be dismantled by anyone should disturb everyone who loves this country and how we were founded. Unfortunately, we now know the constitution, which the president takes an oath to uphold, means nothing to him. He simply is going to do as he pleases.

    To each their own eh?

What don't you understand about "illegal". 12 years and they did nothing to become "legal". There has to be more to this story. I will just wait and see.

I suppose you were good with Biden's call in Afghanistan not to kill the suicide bomber when our troops had him clearly in their sight. The result was he died anyway and so did 13 of our soldiers.

As you totally ignore murders from school shootings, domestic violence, American citizens who kill each other, mass shootings, etc. Also check your spelling, Salvador doesn’t have an “e” at the end. Why don’t you talk about that thug Bibi and murdering over 40,000 Palestinians through bombings, military ground action, starvation, and stealing land on the West Bank. Saying there are no such people as Palestinians or a land that was called Palestine. The saying from the river to the sea isn’t Hamas, it’s the Israelis and we are watching it real time.

One of my least favorite topics is discussing politics. That said, it is important when having these rare discussions one isn't overwhelmed by sticky little legal issues; you know, like the 14th amendment and "birthright citizenship." See, the problem is it still is the law of the land. Children born in the USA, irrespective of the legal status of their parents, are considered citizens of this country.

I realize this causes confusion because the current president likes to think he can just twitch his nose and things like the constitution don't matter. I know it worked for the classified documents he stole, but that was because his pseudo judge Cannon let him off the hook. Unfortunately unless and until his Supreme Court issues a ruling overturning the 14th amendment, that is the law of the land.

And no, i have no interest in debating the dozens of the other violations regarding the rule of law. Let me just say, J-6 tells us everything we need to know about how trump views about backing the blue, the constitution and the freedoms and governance this country was founded under.

Glad to be of help for those confused about children born in the USA and what their rights are.

Bill, exactly what is it you don't understand about the word ILLEGAL. What if I decide never to pay another assessment fee to RCSC. Is that against our law?

    To stay in England:
To travel to England for a year, you'll need a valid passport and likely an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) or a UK visa, depending on your nationality and the purpose of your visit.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    • Passport:
You must have a valid passport that is valid for the entire duration of your stay in the UK.
    • Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA):
      • Starting January 8, 2025, U.S. citizens traveling to the UK for short visits, tourism, or business, including those just passing through UK airports, will need an ETA if they do not have a UK visa or legal residency in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.
      • The ETA is similar to the U.S. ESTA system and acts as a pre-clearance for travel.
      • You can apply for an ETA online or via the UK ETA app.
      • You will need your passport, access to your emails, and a payment method.
    • UK Visa:
      • If your purpose of travel is not covered by the ETA, or if you are not eligible for an ETA, you may need to apply for a UK visa.
      • The type of visa you need will depend on your reason for visiting (e.g., tourism, work, study).
      • You can find information on different visa types and how to apply on the GOV.UK website.
    • Other Supporting Documents:
      • Depending on the type of visa you need, you may also need to provide other supporting documents, such as bank statements, proof of accommodation, or evidence of your purpose for the visit.
      • You can find a list of required documents on the GOV.UK website.
    To stay in France:

To stay in France for a year (over 90 days), you'll need a long-stay visa (VLS-TS) and a valid passport, along with proof of accommodation, sufficient financial means, and insurance.
    Here's a more detailed breakdown:
    1. Passport:
    • Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure date from the Schengen area.
    • It's recommended to have at least six months of validity remaining on your passport when traveling abroad.
    • Ensure your passport has at least two blank pages.

    2. Long-Stay Visa (VLS-TS):
    • If you plan to stay longer than 90 days, you'll need to apply for a long-stay visa.
    • This visa serves as a residence permit and requires online validation after arrival in France.
    • Temporary long-stay visa (VLS-T): If you are certain you will not extend your stay beyond the duration of your visa, a temporary long-stay visa may be issued.

    3. Required Documents for Visa Application:
    • Application Form: Complete the long-stay visa application form.
    • Passport Photos: Provide recent passport-sized photographs.
    • Valid Passport: Submit your valid passport.
    • Visa Fees: Pay the long-stay visa fees.
    • Supporting Documents: Depending on your situation and purpose of stay, you may need to provide additional documents, such as:
      • A letter explaining your reason for applying for a return visa.
      • Proof of address in France (utility bill, etc.).
      • Proof of accommodation covering the entire duration of your stay (hotel reservation, or certificate of staying with a relative).
      • Sufficient financial means to cover your stay.
      • Return ticket or financial means to acquire one.
      • Insurance certificate covering medical and hospital expenses, as well as medical repatriation costs.
    • Biometric Data: You will likely need to provide your fingerprints.
Just two countries because it doesn't matter. Just for grins look what happens in Russia if you are there with a visa and get caught with a joint.

As far as birthright citizenship the parents took the kids with them. They could have stayed here with the older brother. If you have 12 years to get a visa and don't do it it's on you.

Wow Josie, you should take the Foreign Service test to work overseas in one of America’s consulates or one of the embassies. Wait, the test is five hours long and covers a vast arrays of topics, geopolitical situations, international finance, history of countries, local political situations, diplomacy, etc. Naw you don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of passing, they only take the top 10%.

    Democrats gone mad!
A website doxxed Tesla owners with names, addresses and an interactive map.
Dems used to be "the green party" Now they are shooting Tesla dealerships, setting Tesla's on fire. One not too bright person set himself on fire while burning a car. Then there is Tim Walz loving an American company stocks dropping. Make America Fail? Don't they realize the privately owned Tesla's they are burning have already been purchased? The company already got its money.

Tim Walz If you need a little boost during the day, check out Tesla stock | Instagram

Musk response to Walz: 'I don’t know whether to pity his ignorance or be disgusted by the joy he takes in the pain of others.'

Not to worry. All those sorts of test are being scrapped in favor of the Trump Loyalty Oath (TLO).

Yeah, the beer was because MAGA’s heads exploded because a trans person was pitching a crappy beer. This really wasn’t about beer, it was all about the nerve a trans person does a beer commercial. Oh! The horror! What about the fugitive from the 90’s Kid Rock machine gunned essentially a case of Bud Lite and the Great Orange Poobah hates any who is not straight just to please those fake Christians who huddle around him praying for another photo op in the future.

I do not support vandalism, but nobody died except that vet who blew himself in a Tesla in Vegas and J6 was basically a gang of thugs who tried to overthrow a duly elected government, which basically treason, because a guy lost an election and actually never wants to vacate the office except feet first. Hardly a comparison to Pearl Harbor and J6.

3 Tesla vandalizers caught and will be prosecuted. May face up to 20 years in jail. All tesla vehicles have about 7 cameras. As soon as movement is detected the camera activates and is immediately sent to the owner's cell phone. The facial images are surprisingly vivid of the people keying and slashing tires.

For those that applaud the vandalism of Tesla vehicles and the decline of its stock, take note. If you own a 401(k), have a pension plan, or invest in mutual funds, you are a Tesla stockholder as well.
    • Elon Musk is Tesla's largest individual shareholder, holding about 13% of its stock.
    • Vanguard and BlackRock are major institutional investors, owning 7.5% and 6.1% of Tesla shares, respectively.

With all this Tesla stuff someone is going to die. The website where they doxed tesla owners names and addresses has a Molotov cocktail as the curser icon.

And then Walz, boy we dodged a bullet. His loving Tesla stock decline. Minnesota State Board of Investments that show the state held 1.6 million shares of Tesla in its retirement fund. The report is from June 2024, and more recent data is not available. “What’s the matter with that guy? He doesn’t check the well-being of his own constituents.”
