You constantly criticize Trump for his braggadocio and name calling of others, but you have proven yourself to be no better.

How can you possibly expect people to take you serious when you can't even conduct a civil conversation or debate without putting the people you don't agree with down?

Arthur Laffer has a crackpot economic theory called The Laffer Curve economics. In short, it was about the relation between tax rates and tax revenue. Lowering the tax rate, basically a flat tax, could lead to increased tax revenue as a result of economic growth because of lower taxes. Reagan tried this in the 1980’s and it didn’t work. The flat tax is regressive to the lower and middle classes. Say the flat tax is 10% and you have a family of four earn 35k. You would owe $3,500 in taxes because there would be no deductions. How much would you be effected by owing that amount when it comes down to food, housing, gasoline, utilities, , insurance, etc. Now take a family of four and the husband earns $4.5M and receives an annual bonus of $1,2M for taxable income of $5.7M and his annual tax bill is $570,000. Who is better off with this plan?

One of Trump’s advisors is Stephen Moore who was a proponent of the is idea and the Republicans idea now celebrating its 100th birthday, trickle down economics which still has not worked. The theory on this piece of junk is that if the wealthy are given huge tax breaks, the benefit will “trickle down” to the people below. Many dead. My BIL volunteered with fire department looking for bodies in the rubble at the roller rink.

Who knows how true it is regarding the Houthi bombing? The mother and father, María and Juan, are undocumented immigrants who have lived in Texas for a decade, working and paying taxes. They have six children, five of whom are American citizens. But their 10-year-old daughter has brain cancer. Her treatments have required the family to travel across the state frequently. They are often stopped at immigration-enforcement checkpoints, but this has never presented a problem before. They travel with letters from their attorneys and their daughter’s doctors, explaining the situation.

In February, the family was detained at one of these checkpoints while traveling to the hospital for treatment.

And then the entire family was deported.

Please sit with that for a moment: The U.S. government deported a 10-year-old girl with brain cancer even though she is a U.S. citizen.

Just another reason to cheer on your guy, getting rid of those filthy immigrants eh? Oh wait, she was and is a U. S. citizen. Oh well, constitution be damned.
