    Janet,

Fifty years of watching the big picture from 30,000 feet. History does repeat itself if you know where to look. I read a lot from many sources helps also.

I said nothing about boys and girls sports in that post so WTF are you talking about other than I did post earlier to watch the women’s 1500 meter final at the Paris Olympics including the pre-race blah blah. Either you watched that tape or I have no idea what you are talking about. What does caring for someone have to do with boys and girls sports?

Response makes no sense and now you are practicing a form of psychology without a license. Just add to the other deformatory comments you have posted or as Roger Waters said,”another brick in the wall.”

    Dave,
Did you mean Richard Hofstetter or Richard Hofstatder? Regardless, I have been watching the pictures, big and small, for over 70 years. You are correct, "History repeats itself." That's what it did on Tuesday when Donald J Trump was elected President of the United States. I am helped from reading from many sources as well. Keep calm and carry on!

I don't think Dave has any JOY at all. The lack of it appears to be interfering with comprehensive of a simple post I made.

I find myself wondering what rounding up 10 or 15 million people is going to look like? That's roughly 2 or 3 times the population of the entire Phoenix area. So will they all be held in one spot or will detainment centers be scattered all over the country? And what is the chance that Mexico will just refuse to take them, After all it has been pointed out that many of these people are coming from 87 (or whatever) different countries. This was, I believe, one of the two issues that won Trump the election (economy being the other) so let's see how it plays out. The economy too, for that matter. Oh yes, and he was (is?) going to end the Russo-Ukranian and Israeli-Palestinian conflict even before he gets into office. I am curious as to how that will work. A minor drama is, will Biden be there to hand over the country on swearing-in-day since Trump skipped the 2021 version?

Well, the illegally appointed Jack Smith is dismantling all the bogus charges against Trump and won't have a job soon. The NY case against Trump is expected to be tossed by Judge Merchan. What a huge waste of taxpayer money just to take down one man.

It'll start with the known gang members, then slowly manifest as each new illegal commits a crime. Then we have of course the locations of many who used the app to register along with the locations that can be tracked by using the cell phones that were handed out.

It, by no means, is going to be a quick process but a process and problem that must be addressed. You don't get asylum simply because you were living in poverty! You can't keep using taxpayer dollars to support those who came here illegally while we still have American Veterans living in the streets. Where's the compassion in that?

These illegals need to remain in their own Country and fight to change their own form of government as we did in 1776.

And for God's sake, let's make the English language the official language of the United States! I'm tired of receiving notices that include 2 pages of interpretations from every other Country in the world, and we won't even talk about the schools and teachers who are now forced to teach the illegals who speak no English!

    And that's my opinion!

Compassion starts with your own family and citizens!

If you're so compassionate, how about sharing your home with some of the illegals?

Perhaps you don't care how the government spends your tax dollars, but I do! I worked too hard for what I have earned and acquired and don't look very kindly on those who illegally entered this country looking for a handout!

Thomas Sowell once said, "I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned, but it's not greed to want to take someone else's money."

And the government keeps wanting to take what I have earned!

Yes, a poverty often created by multi-national corporations sucking all the wealth out of their country. All they are doing is following their country's prosperity to where ever it leads.

Didn’t Trump highly classified documents and has his attorney lie that had all been turned? Didn’t he play hide 5he sausage with the documents just before the Feds showed up? Didn’t he have documents scattered all over at his over priced putting greens. Did he violate the Presidential Records Act that said he had no rights to them? I’ll bet he some stashed at failing golf course in Scotland.

As for the NY cases, we will see since Judge Merchant can’t throw out a case he found him guilty and since he can’t run again, he could go to jail in NY when he gets out. Hope 5here are some brothers there to greet him.

Don't you mean Joe Biden who was the one who had highly classified documents scattered all over? And by the way, documents he never had the authority to have!

Or did you mean Bill Clinton who kept tapes in his sock drawer?

I see your still suffering from TDS or are you just a sore loser?

I have always found Thomas Sowell to be very wise as an economist. I used to read his editorials regularly and have read several of his books. My only disagreement with him was his stance on delayed language development. Many famous people, such as Albert Einstein, were late talkers but I have seen many language delayed children never catch up.

    Dave,
We could continue to point fingers both ways forever, but why? Politicians in both parties have committed transgressions. How many are elevated to a criminal level is questionable. The people of the US have spoken. Your party has had the White House for four years. Mine now for the next four. Looks like the Senate, for sure, is Republican controlled and likely the House will be there, too. That's why we are fortunate to live in the country where the will of the people prevails. President Biden gave a great speech after the election!
