I absolutely love the campaign Harris is running. Her initial efforts were to build momentum by rallying the forces on left, right and independents. Creating that big tent party was essential as she spent a lot of time listening to what those supporting her were saying. What a novel idea, listening to your constituents. It helped shape her positions as she incorporated some of the more middle of the road proposals.

As the campaign rolled on, she further defined her positions. Her tax strategy was on point and was well received by many who stated emphatically it was far more sound for the country than the old guy farting out his idea to tariff every good coming into the country. I can pull up the articles, but why bother?

Next came her newly minted immigration policy/reform. Clearly it reflects the large number of independents and republicans who have signed on as supporters to her campaign (and the staggering number of them endorsing her). To be sure, this country should have embraced immigration reform when the Gang of Eight, a bi-partisan group of eight United States Senators—four Democrats and four Republicans, wrote the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013.

It passed in the Senate, but it died in the House of Representatives when John Boehner refused to bring it up for a vote. We've needed immigration reform since that far back and we would have had it this year but trump ordered house republicans to kill it. Shameful. Now Harris has vowed to pass the bill that was drafted earlier this year once elected.

On the other hand, trump keeps getting more scatter-brained at every interview and rally he does. Maybe for shirts and giggles i'll grab some of those clips and post them. It is simply terrifying this mess of a human being has even the smallest chance to be elected. Of course he'll lose the popular vote (i predict by 10 million votes), but with the squirrely electoral college who knows?
