There's little more pathetic than the awful smell of desperation coming off the trump campaign and his shallow followers. Can you begin to imagine a candidate for president of the United States standing on a stage at a debate, at a rally or giving an interview spewing lies about cats and dogs being eaten?

What is truly pathetic is this is an old trope used to attack immigrants. It's just been recycled, like everything else the trumpster wails on about. For a man born with the golden spoon in his mouth, have you ever seen or heard anyone whining about how unfair life is to him. Speaking of which, what's with that shield/box he's hiding behind at rallies? Manly man for sure eh?

But, i digress; one of the posters here mentioned how much his supporters loved him and cheered for him. Just a footnote, the mess of an answer he gave regarding childcare (you know, the one where he couldn't complete a sentence), the goofs in the crowd cheered that as well. Just like they do when he babbles on about Hannibel Lector, sharks, batteries and windmills.

The reality is just this; his supporters aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer either. It appears trump could have taught Jim Jones and PT Barnum a thing or two. Cult figures are often charismatic to the those who buy into the rhetoric they spew.

The beauty of our country is we are moving closer to the middle and away from the two extremes. Politics is truly the art of the doable, the crazies on either end will always be standing on the outside looking in. Democrats, easily the smarter of the two parties, have come to understand the importance of representing everyone, not just those who would attack the capital and try and hang their vice president.

On the other hand, the new trump/maga crowd embraces crazy. It's exactly why the true conservatives in this country are abandoning their party.
