Abraham Lincoln was killed by a Confederate sympathizer. While you could make an argument that he was a Democrat, the party then is not the Democratic Party now. I would say the Orange Messiah is closer to Booth’s Democratic Party. Lincoln stood up to insurrectionists but wanted them to rejoin the Union with no hate. Read his Second Inaurgural Address.


John Kennedy, his assassination is still in the iffy territory. It was true that he was in Texas to unite the party for 1964 but no proof a Democrat executed or drafted a plan. Could have been the mob. I will cut you a bit of slack here as I believe you were probably somewhere between 9-11 years old. Since you don’t have your age on your profile, I had to extrapolate from other breadcrumbs you left lying around.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated by an escaped convict who as far as is known never stated who was behind it it. Read Hellhound on His Trail about James Earl Ray and his escape and subsequent movements. It is a relatively short book that even you could finish. Zero points for that. As a side note, Nixon was campaigning using his Southern Strategy flipping the Deep South to Republican basically using racism which they ate up. So for your point to work, he would have to convince Southern racists to kill King who were becoming Republicans. Zero points for that.

Ronald Reagan, first, you spelled his name wrong which casts a bit of shade on your point. He was shot by a seriously unstable person who thought the act would impress Jodie Foster. He has not professed any political beliefs that can be tied to the shooting. Zero points for that.

The real test is on the appeal of that insurance/tax fraud judgment in New York where he lied ( no surprise there) that there were no sureties big enough to write the bond. That was unaltered pure 100% bullshit. The truth is no company wanted anything to do with it because his financials are shit, the value are his properties are crap and sureties writing federal and State bonds are precluded from taking real estate as collateral, the Depression brought that in. If that judgment is upheld, with accumulated interest should be north of $1.5 B now. This presents a problem as the fly by night company that was stupid enough to write this is on the hook for the entire amount. That is because it is not a surety bond but an undertaking of surety and New York is going to make immediate demand for their money. We will see how long it takes to sell off trump’s collateral. Finally since surety bonds and undertakings are not insurance, Trump is obligated to indemnify the company for all moneys, costs, fees paid by the company. He will be in one big world of hurt.

I know this because I spent a career underwriting bonds of this nature and with other companies writing mega sized bonds.

I have to kinda laugh! Dave never really responded to my previous post encouraging him to vote Democrat if those are the things that he really believes. Perhaps I've hit a nerve?

Look, Dave has his many beliefs, one of which is that his knowledge on things like history, the law and the economy are more superior and in depth than that of the common man, which is probably true. And if that is true, how could a person with such knowledge vote the Democrat Party when they are attempting to turn our country into a Socialist/Marxist one?

Dave prides himself on history, so I wonder how he feels about Kamala pushing for price control? Dave understands that, that has never worked in the past and our country's economy runs and the price of goods being determined on the principle of supply and demand, and the use of scarce recourses!

Dave prides himself on his knowledge of finance and budget, and he actually sits on the Finance and Budget committee here in the RCSC! So how does Dave feel about taxing unrealized capital gains? As far a I understand it, that's not even constitutional because the sixteenth amendment says only income can be taxed! An unrealized capitol gain doesn't become income until you actually spend it! So now you may have to actually sell property to pay the tax on dollars you were never able to spend? Think of the farmer who leaves his estate to his children! That idea will simply make people poorer, which is actually not a hard thing to see!

And how would giving $25,000 dollars to first time home buyers work? Didn't they try that a few years ago when they were giving home mortgage loans to people who couldn't qualify for the loan? So now they owned a home that they could hardly pay the mortgage on! And besides, would home sellers simply add $25,000 dollars to sale price of their own home?

Yeah, I believe Dave is a patriot, albeit a Summer Soldier, and when push comes to shove, I believe he loves his Country more than his political party,... but we will never know, and he will never admit it!

Dave understands perhaps more than most people what would happen to our Country under the policies proposed by the Dem's.

I have a Trump sticker and I will put on my car. Car is 20 years and sat out in the sun for 17 of those years between Boswell and Webb hospitals for 12 hours a day. Some clear coat is gone. let them vandalize it. Then I will put another sticker on it that says Democrats did this. I have some video recorders on the car just in case, and I will prosecute.

We need to speak up now and speak loudly. I am doing whatever I can at the polls to help keep it honest.
