It is truly amazing as to how much detail is in the report. It's worlds apart from what we have been reading for the past 15 years. I really was glad to see they are planning reopening party for View Point lake. Hopefully they'll ask members to help out. Asking for volunteers on an event like this is exactly how they can grow the circle and create a sense of ownership.

The one item I could not find in financial report was the $10,000,000 in the “ carry forward” placeholder.(for lack of better term) Anyone else have same problem?

    IT’S HAPPENING!
We’ll enjoy our Viewpoint Lake again SOON!

    In the RCSC Management Report
    EVENTS
“We are diligently working on a “Grand Re-Opening” of Viewpoint Lake celebration for Wednesday, November 1, from 3-7pm. There will be Pontoon boat rides along with a “Build your own ice cream Sundae” in Social Hall #1. The date is tentative and contingent upon completion of the project. More details to come.”

I heard a rumor that they have already found a leak in the liner and have not only stopped filling it but are actually pumping some of the water back out.

Can somebody either confirm or deny this rumor?

Rusty Bradshaw explains there was a brief halt to the Viewpoint Lake refill, including some sump-pumping.
The lake is back to full refill efforts!
Thank you, Rusty for your continued concern for our Sun City community.
