Excellent news! I recently discovered a feature when watching online photo essays and things that seem to take too long for my shorter by the day attention span--you can speed up most videos up to 2x normal speed. Sometimes it makes the songs sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks but some draggy music now has a perkier beat and I've gained extra minutes to each day. Yay!
I don't know what it's called and I can't show it since this site doesn't support pics anymore. But when you look at an online video, look at the bottom menu where they have stuff like volume, closed caption options etc. There often is a little gear looking icon and if you click on it you should find that it offers playback speed and playback quality.
